Duterte security guard 126 infected with new crown, some members had Chinese vaccination

The Philippine Presidential Security Guard (PSG) announced on Wednesday (7) that a total of 126 members of the PSG have been infected with the New Coronary Pneumonia (CCP) virus, all of whom have not had direct or close contact with President Rodrigo Duterte. For security reasons, President Duterte has cancelled a nationally televised address scheduled for Wednesday night.

Of the 126 cases in the Philippine Presidential Security Guard, 45 are active cases, all of whom have no confirmed symptoms. Duterte revealed last year that some members of the team had been vaccinated with the then unofficially authorized and smuggled inactivated vaccine developed by China National Pharmaceutical Group, and it is not known whether the confirmed members had been injected with the vaccine.
