Do what I do, love what I love

I wonder if you would still have the courage to come if you knew our lives in advance. -Nothing to Ask.

(I) The world is beautiful, but it’s a tough world.

“Did you deliberately propose a program that would drop the bill and then come here to take a higher position and receive a higher salary?”

“You guess,”

(2) “Every day people only see how I hit you, but they don’t see how you hit me.”

“I’ve never touched you.”

“You didn’t hit me with your hands, you hit me with your attitude, you were kind to your student friends and neighbors, and you were silent to me. You said at first that you would be good to me forever.”

“Why can all things change, why can’t people, why can’t this thing?”

“Can’t” Throwing down the gauntlet.

(3) “Life should not judge each person’s worth by his or her fame and fortune.”

“Do you have any idea why your father and I don’t want you to be a soldier?”

“Because I’m an only child.”

“That’s not the main reason. It’s because we want you to enjoy the pleasures of life, such as: reading a thousand books and traveling ten thousand miles, for example: marrying and having children with a girl you like, not for us to add grandchildren, but so that you can enjoy the pleasures of parenthood. There is nothing that your ancestors didn’t experience in their lives that you need to pursue fame and fortune, they are just the illusions of life, do you understand? Do you understand?”

(iv) “What is the purpose of your studies?”

“I just know that no matter what I do in the future, at this age it’s right to read and study. Why should I care what I learn? There is something solid about giving yourself to books every day.”

“But you’ve also neglected one more thing – truth! One puts oneself in the midst of busyness, and there is a numbing solidity, but the truth is lost. Your youth is only these days.”

“What is real?”

“There is a peace and joy in what you see, what you hear, what you do and who you are with that overflows from the depths of your soul, without remorse or shame.”

(5) “What is lacking in this age is not the perfect man, but the truth, justice, fearlessness, and compassion that comes from your heart.”

“The world has no meaning or purpose for you, yet it is full of illusions of what you want. But who knows, it may be in this sultry and wearisome noon that the stranger, with his basket full of wonderful goods, will pass by your door, shouting loudly, and you will be awakened from your hazy dream, and out of the door to meet your fate.”

(6) If you knew your life in advance, I wonder if you would still have the courage to come.

What you see and hear often frustrates you, and the world is so powerful that you can’t think of changing it. However, if you had the opportunity to know your life in advance, and knew that youth is only these days, I wonder if you would still care about the things that the world wants you to care about, such as how much to possess to be more honorable, and what to have to be loved. When you grow up, you will rejoice at the emergence of green shoots from the ground, you will jump for joy at the rising sun, and you will give kindness and warmth to others. But you will praise other beings and often, if not always, forget your own preciousness. May you remember your preciousness when you are struck and resist malice. May you believe in your preciousness when you are confused, love what you love, do what you do, listen to your heart, and ask no questions!
