The U.S. government said today that President Joe Biden will receive Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga in Washington, D.C., on the 16th.

AFP reports that Suga will be the first foreign leader to be received by Biden in Washington.

So far, Biden has only held video conferences with other government leaders.
