Asian female student was beaten by a strange man when she went out to take out the garbage

As Stop Asian Hate marches break out across Canada, hate crimes against Asians are not stopping or decreasing, they are becoming more rampant and blatant!

Just recently, there was an outrageous violent attack on the campus of UBC University! A female student of Asian descent was beaten up by an unknown man while taking out the garbage at night…

I can’t believe it! Is this still Canada?

According to the RCMP, the case occurred last Saturday (March 27), shortly after 8 p.m., when an Asian female student was taking out the garbage in an alley behind the University Blvd. neighbourhood when she was suddenly approached by a strong man who stopped her, made some racist remarks, and then started punching her, hitting her in the head and abdomen.

After a moment of anger, the man fled in an unknown direction. The girl, who was covered in injuries, immediately called 911 and was rushed to the hospital late at night for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, and has since been released.

The suspect is described as a tall, medium-sized male wearing a hoodie, sweatpants and sneakers, and a dark-coloured mask.

In a press release, the RCMP said, “This case is in the early stages of investigation and we do not rule out any motive, including involvement in a bias or hate crime.”

After the incident, the Korean community website Hanooring reported that the girl victim, a Korean student attending UBC, was working at the H-Mart supermarket on campus that night and did not expect to be attacked for no apparent reason in just a few minutes of taking out the garbage.

Thankfully, according to the victim’s co-workers, she remained strong after the incident and went to work as usual the next day.

However, it is frightening to know that such hate crimes can happen anywhere, anytime. Recent racial attacks, in particular, seem to be targeting older people and women…

Yesterday afternoon (March 30), another racial hate incident occurred in Richmond, where a Chinese female clerk at Rocanini’s was attacked by a white couple who poured hot coffee on her and called her “F**k Chinese”!

At that time, the number of customers in the coffee shop had reached the maximum limit of COVID-19. The Chinese female clerk politely asked the white couple to move to the outdoor dining area. Unexpectedly, the couple started to play rascal, forcing the table and chairs indoors and deliberately blocking the bathroom access, making it impossible for people passing by to maintain a social distance from them, causing dissatisfaction among other customers in the store and violating the epidemic regulations.

When the clerk kindly came forward to persuade them, the couple began to spill their guts in unison, both of them throwing the coffee in their hands on the floor one after the other and hurling insults at the female clerk while walking out the door: “F**k Chinese”, then throwing the rest of the coffee in the cup at her.

When he found out that he was caught on video, the white-headed grandpa said falsely to the camera, “This is the end, my wife is not feeling well today.”

However, just as the two were about to drive away in their BMW, he whispered “F**king Chinese” twice more towards the female shop assistant!

According to the clerk, when the police arrived on the scene later, the white grandpa still unapologetically insulted the Chinese in front of an Asian police officer.

Unfortunately, in the end, only the woman was taken away by the police for physical assault, and the grandfather was not convicted of verbal insults.

But even so, in the face of any form of insults and attacks, everyone should film evidence to expose their evil deeds and call the police to get their attention! This is because condoning the bullying scum will only encourage this bad social climate.

If you encounter a similar situation, you can call 911 or go to your local police station to report the crime or call the anonymous crime extermination hotline at 1-800-222-8477.
