On March 27, the Chinese Communist Party media continued to praise Xi Jinping‘s trip to Fujian, but the main tone of propaganda began to shift to the diplomatic level. Xinhua’s top-rated headline published a feature article, “Raising the Sail of Peace Together – China’s Head of State Diplomacy Injects Positive Energy into the World’s Stable Development,” helping Xi Jinping boast about his so-called peaceful, civilized dialogue diplomacy, as the CCP party media tried to help Xi unwind and push blame in the face of a larger crisis in international relations.
However, another Xinhua article, “Foreign Ministry Spokesman Announces Sanctions on U.S., Canadian-Related Persons and Entities,” completely toppled the CCP’s false peace and civilized dialogue. The Chinese Communist Party retaliated by targeting U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom Chairwoman Manchin, Vice Chairwoman Burkins, Canadian federal Congressman Chuang Wen Ho, and the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s Subcommittee on International Human Rights, and suggested that “the parties concerned should understand the situation and correct their mistakes” or “they will surely burn themselves with fire “.
Xi Jinping was quoted in a special edition of Xinhua News Agency as saying, “China has always been a builder of world peace, a contributor to global development, and a defender of the international order,” but it is precisely the Chinese Communist Party that has repeatedly undermined peace, imposed unfair trade and economic coercion on a large scale, and repeatedly subverted the international order. The Chinese Communist regime’s persecution of Xinjiang, Hong Kong, Tibet, Inner Mongolia, Falun Gong, June 4, and human rights lawyers, as well as its deliberate concealment of the Epidemic, have long demonstrated that the Chinese Communist Party has never been peaceful and civilized to good Chinese people, so how can such a regime be expected to be peaceful and civilized in the international arena?
The Chinese Communist Party has retaliated against the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada, and also against foreign companies in China. The Chinese Communist Party has repeatedly botched foreign affairs and made no secret of its determination to dominate the world, but in reality it has been “playing with fire”.
Perhaps the top brass of the CCP is trapped in an unrealistic dream and cannot extricate themselves from it, or perhaps they are now desperate and have no choice but to ride the tiger, and really think they can scare countries by their false assertiveness? The Chinese Communist Party’s military newspaper, People’s Daily, also fervently published an article “Focusing on preparation for war to improve the quality of training”, interpreting Xi Jinping’s speech on March 24 when he inspected the second mobile unit of the armed police, saying “pull out, go up, and win”.
If Xi Jinping really wants to fight, he should directly mobilize the air force and navy, and go to the armed police force to talk about preparation for war, is it not specious? The Chinese government’s faux-toughness is still the same as the fiery performance at the U.S.-China talks, but after the show, it doesn’t know how to end. After all, diplomatic relations will get worse, China’s economy will face more serious difficulties, the internal cycle will be exposed sooner, and the survival crisis of the CCP regime will be more imminent.
Who can stop the top echelon of the CCP from speeding up the road to collapse?
The CCP’s retaliation and sanctions should be considered a good thing for the Western countries. The CCP’s retaliation does not really hurt the targeted individuals and groups, but on the contrary, makes them glorious, and should make the governments and people of all countries more sober. It is a naive fantasy to expect the Chinese Communist regime to turn into a rule-based participant in international affairs. Former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo‘s speech on July 23, 2020 has long explained clearly that “the free world must overcome this new tyranny” as the only way out.
The new U.S. administration, and governments around the world, have clearly seen why the Chinese Communist Party did not dare to be so arrogant when Trump was president of the United States. The Chinese Communist Party was afraid of stronger economic, technological and visa sanctions from the Trump Administration; it was also afraid that the Trump administration would go after the Chinese Communist Party for concealing the epidemic; it was also afraid that the Trump administration would further distinguish between the Chinese Communist Party and China; and it was even more afraid that the Trump administration would not recognize the Chinese Communist regime. This is the real weakness of the CCP, and a clear strategy of how governments should deal with the CCP regime is at hand.
The Chinese Communist Party’s retaliation is even a good thing for the new U.S. government. No matter how divided Democrats and Republicans are, no matter which ones embrace Trump and which ones hate him, Trump’s strategy for dealing with the CCP has proven to be correct and effective.
In the past two months, the new U.S. administration seems to be looking for a different strategy from Trump’s, and also tries to avoid confrontation and conflict with the CCP, which has precisely caused a serious miscalculation by the CCP’s top management; the U.S. is also ready to cooperate with the CCP on North Korea, Iran, climate and other issues, which is tantamount to giving the CCP an opportunity to further provoke the U.S. Biden‘s strategic patience did not work for the CCP, nor could it bring a moment of peace to the new government. By giving up its strategic initiative against the CCP, the United States has ceded the initiative to the CCP.
Today, it is Time for the U.S. and the West to wake up more to the fact that confrontation with the CCP regime is the main theme of the world today and a historical necessity. The Chinese Communist regime’s botched performance time and again has continuously sounded the alarm to governments, that is actually the death knell of the Chinese Communist regime ringing itself.
A pandemic that has not yet been rid of seems not enough to make everyone learn a profound lesson, but now a bigger reality is in front of us, which is not only about courage and wisdom, but also about the most basic humanity, good and evil, truth and falsehood, and even more about the real mission that this generation should carry.
The fog is being lifted, and the choice at the critical moment in history will determine the future fate of a country and nation.
