Because Chen Guojiang’s family is poor and cannot afford to hire a lawyer, Chen Guojiang’s family issued a request for help on March 15 through the “Delivery Jianghu Knights Alliance” WeChat public number, which raised 120,000 yuan by the afternoon of March 16. Subsequently, the public number was blocked. So far, several public WeChat numbers and qq groups in solidarity with Chen Guojiang have also been restricted, and information about the strike has been blocked.

Chen Guojiang is currently being held in Beijing’s Chaoyang District Detention Center.
