Vietnam adopts Western and Russian vaccines in large quantities, but does not use Chinese vaccines
Vietnam is importing a large number of Chinese Communist virus vaccines from the United States, the United Kingdom and Russia, but has not ordered Chinese vaccines, according to comprehensive news.
According to a report by the pro-China overseas media Dovetail News, Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City health Department recently submitted a bill proposing to import 5 million doses of the Modena Chinese Communist virus vaccine from the United States. In February, Vietnam received 117,000 doses of the vaccine from the U.K. In late February, Vietnam also approved the “Sat-V” vaccine from Russia and may order a total of 150 million doses of the vaccine from Russia.
But Vietnam has not ordered any vaccine from China, in stark contrast to other ASEAN countries. The Dovetail report analyzes that Vietnam is more wary of CCP vaccines, and that China has not previously been a significant player in international vaccine development. At the same Time, Vietnam has a more complex mentality toward the CCP and does not want to follow it in everything.
