On the one-year anniversary of the Communist virus Epidemic in the United States, the official Chinese media Xinhua News Agency took to the electronic screens in New York’s Times Square to promote how the Communist Party is “helping countries work together to fight the epidemic. U.S. Sen. Scott blasted that it is Time to cancel this “Chinese screen” full of lies.
In the center of New York’s Times Square, the screen features an advertisement from Xinhua, the official media of the Chinese Communist Party, which reads, “China has assisted more than 80 countries and regions and will continue to work with the international community to fight the epidemic.
U.S. Senator Rick Scott tweeted, “Who thought it would be a good idea to let Communist China showcase their lies and propaganda? It’s time to remove this so-called China screen from Times Square.”
U.S.-based current affairs commentator Tang Jingyuan: “It seems to me that it is very immediate that the congressman issued this initiative to shut it down, and it should be supported. This is the Chinese Communist Party taking advantage of the freedom and openness of the United States and coming to the very heart of your America and putting out the voice of the Chinese Communist Party.”
Traveling U.S. current affairs commentator Tang Jingyuan said that the New York government or the Biden administration should realize that such ideological infiltration by the Chinese Communist Party brings chronic, invisible harm to the United States.
The Chinese Communist Party is deliberately using a contrasting approach to highlight the irreplaceable superiority of the Communist Party’s red totalitarian system, although it is ostensibly a public health issue. The U.S. should have taken stronger reciprocal measures, and we simply cannot imagine having the U.S. media go into the heart of China to promote the superiority of the U.S. system or freedom and democracy, etc. That is unthinkable.”
Despite claims on advertising screens that China has assisted more than 80 countries and regions in the fight against the epidemic, Judicial Watch, a conservative U.S. watchdog group, recently broke the news that it had obtained a 301-page email from the U.S. Department of Health proving that the Chinese Communist Party and the WHO were working together to hide the epidemic.
Paul in Times Square, New York: “We hear a lot of rumors, a lot of political statements, and sometimes we don’t see or hear the truth because the media doesn’t report it, and we need to know the facts before we can really make a judgment.”
A few days ago, countries including the United States and the United Kingdom called on Beijing to be transparent about information on the outbreak, with U.S. national security adviser Jake Sullivan accusing the “Chinese Communist Party of not providing enough raw data that would explain how the outbreak spread within China and around the world.”
