The Gateway Pundit reports that Twitter is suing the Texas attorney general, claiming the Republican used his position to retaliate against Twitter for banning Trump‘s account from Twitter and demanding that the investigation be stopped. This comes after the Texas attorney general opened an investigation into the tech giant’s alleged collusion to get rid of and eliminate competing rival Parler.
In August 2018, conservative TV and radio host Alex Jones was banned by Twitter, Facebook, Google-Tubes and Apple together within hours of each other on the same day.
It certainly appears that these tech giants are colluding to eliminate the Infowars website and Alex Jones’ voice online.
In October 2020, Benghazi hero John “Tig” Tiegen held a rally in Denver after a far-left radical shot and killed a Trump supporter, following which “Benghazi hero” Tiegen The “Benghazi hero” Tiegen’s Facebook and Instagram feeds were banned.
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Shopify all deleted and banned President Donald Trump on January 7, 2021, following the riots at the U.S. Capitol protest on January 6, 2021.
It is clear that the tech giants have somehow colluded to censor and ban conservative voices for a long Time.
On January 13, 2021, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton launched an investigation into Google, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon Web Services and Apple, requesting information about the content censorship policies and practices of these companies, and more specifically, information about Paller, a recently terminated or blocked by Google, Amazon and Apple social media application.
This comes after the tech giants conspired to take down the social media platform Paller. The tech giants shut down Paler after conservatives flocked to Paler after President Trump was banned from the far-left tyranny platform.
Since then, Twitter has removed hundreds, if not thousands, of conservative voices, including The Gateway Pundit’s account, because of unapproved content.
Now, Twitter is suing the Texas attorney general. These tech giants think they’re above the government.
The Associated Press reports.
Twitter has filed a lawsuit against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, claiming the Republican used his position to retaliate against Twitter after a riot at the U.S. Capitol because Donald Trump’s account was banned from Twitter.
In the days following the deadly January riots, Paxton announced an investigation into Twitter and four other major technology companies for what he called “what appears to be a concerted effort to remove the president from the platform. The attorney general’s office has asked the companies to produce various records related to their content review policies, as well as archives of internal communications.
Twitter responded to a federal lawsuit Monday that said Paxton was trying to punish Twitter for shutting down Trump’s account, which the social media company said was protected free speech. It asked a judge to declare that the decision falls within the First Amendment and essentially stop Paxton’s investigation.
“Paxton made clear that he would use the full force of his office, including its broad investigative powers, to retaliate against Twitter for making an editorial decision with which he disagreed,” the company’s lawyers wrote in a lawsuit filed in Northern California court.
A spokesman for Paxton’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment Monday evening.
