Trump endorses South Dakota governor’s Sea Lake estate for campaign fundraiser

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem delivers her State of the State address in Pierre, S.D., last January.

On Friday, March 5, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, who was endorsed by former President Donald Trump and is considered a rising Republican star, was allowed to raise money for her 2022 gubernatorial campaign at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.

Trump’s eldest son, Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, Kimberly Guifolye, hosted a fundraiser for Kristi Noem’s 2022 gubernatorial campaign at Mar-a-Lago on Friday, FoxNews.com reported. Noem is a supporter of Trump’s “America First” policy, and last year she represented Trump at a campaign event in New Hampshire to campaign for his election.

Noem will also attend another fundraiser on the southwest coast of Florida on Saturday, March 6, where she will be accompanied by President Trump’s former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski.

Lewandowski, who is now Noem’s main aide, will not only accompany Noem to Saturday’s Florida election fundraiser, but also accompanied her to the Republican National Committee’s winter convention in Florida in January. Last week, he also accompanied Noem to the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

Noem’s speech at last week’s Conservative Political Action Conference was excellent, and as a result, she is considered a rising star in the Republican Party. Her speech at the conference not only expressed her support for the “America First” philosophy, but also her opposition to Home and mask orders during the COVID-19 outbreak.

In the final poll of the CPAC convention, Noem was tapped by conservatives in attendance as one of the potential candidates for the 2024 presidential election. According to the poll, if Trump does not run in the 2024 presidential election, the first candidate pushed by Republicans is Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) with 43 percent support, and the second is Noem with 11 percent support.
