Jordan said, “He (Trump) is the leader of the Republican Party. And frankly, I hope, and you know, in 2025, he’s the leader of our country again. In our lifetime, in my lifetime, no one, no president has done more of what they previously promised to do when they were president than President Trump: (Trump) said he was going to cut taxes, and he did; he said he was going to reduce regulations, and he did.” Jordan said in an interview.

Jordan said what often happens in political (circles) is that someone will promise to do something at election Time, but then come to Washington (meaning after taking office) and then pretend they are doing what they promised to do instead of actually doing what they promised to do and making excuses for not keeping their promises. Jordan portrays Trump as a president who actually delivers on his campaign promises.

That’s why, Jordan said, “the support for President (Trump) has been so strong. That’s why “the American people appreciate him so much because he fights for them, he fights for us.”

Jordan also re-emphasized Trump’s leadership in his speech at the CPAC convention Sunday. He said, “President Trump is the leader of the conservative movement. He’s the leader of the ‘America First’ movement. He’s the leader of the Republican Party.” “I hope that on Jan. 20, 2025, he will again be the leader of our great nation.”

A series of polls conducted in recent days show that Republican voters remain generally supportive of Trump, despite his impeachment and despite his blocking by YouTube, Facebook and Twitter following the Jan. 6 events in Congress. Trump has made few public statements since leaving office, and he did not rule out running for president again in 2024 in a media interview earlier this month.

For Republicans and Republican voters in Congress, Jordan explained that “it’s our job to stay the course” in leftist policies.

“We need to fight to defend our country’s values and principles (which have made our country extraordinary) against the onslaught that has been brought to this country from the left’s Culture of abolition. So, hold on, fight back and stop as much of what the left wants to do.” Jordan said, “Take back the House in 2022 and make (House Republican) Leader (Kevin) McCarthy (R-Calif.) Speaker of the House. And then in 2024, with President Trump running again and winning, we can get back to doing the things that will actually make America better again and keep us being a great country.”
