Commenting on Biden’s administration, Trump’s CPAC speech will cover China’s Communist Party and other issues

Fox News reported Wednesday (Feb. 24) that sources familiar with the speech said former U.S. President Donald Trump‘s (Trump) speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) Sunday afternoon will hammer incumbent Joe Biden on a variety of fronts, covering a wide range of issues including immigration and the Chinese Communist Party issue.

At the same Time, Trump is not expected to announce his candidacy for president in 2024. The sources said Trump will take a route between “warming up for the 2024 campaign” and “just announcing another campaign.

As the conservative movement around Trump begins to take shape after he leaves office, it can be expected that Trump’s speech on Sunday could have an impact throughout the conference, making him the highlight of the 2021 CPAC convention, which will begin on Thursday (25) and end on Sunday (28).

According to the schedule, Trump will speak on the final day of the conference, which will be attended by numerous conservatives and Republicans from across the United States as well as invited speakers.

This will be Trump’s first official public appearance since leaving office, and coincides with Biden’s adoption of several executive orders reversing Trump’s previous policies.

On immigration, Biden has moved the fastest, taking a series of steps to call a halt to Trump-era policies. Biden ordered a halt to the construction of a wall along the southern border, an end to the travel ban and an easing of refugee policies, including the Trump Administration‘s “Stay in Mexico” Migrant Protection Protocols, which began in January 2019.

The policy is designed to prevent Central American refugees from entering the U.S. on the grounds of political asylum, because in the past, refugees seeking asylum often arrived in the U.S. and used U.S. policies to qualify for legal work, and then many automatically disappeared, regardless of the outcome of their immigration court cases.

Republicans have warned Biden that he is brewing a border crisis and that a large number of refugees will choose to go north in anticipation of a loosening of U.S. enforcement and asylum policies.

Trump’s speech on Sunday will be watched with interest, as outsiders seek signs from his remarks on one hand to see if he is likely to run in 2024, and on the other to see if he intends to challenge fallen Republicans in the party. Early polls show that if Trump chooses to run for a third time, he will be the easy frontrunner in the Republican primary.

Trump made a rare and stern statement against Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, saying it was important not to let third-rate leaders decide the future of the United States.

Trump promised that he would help the Republicans win back Congress in 2022 and, if appropriate, he would endorse those running in 2022 who support Make America Great Again (MAGA) and America First policies.

The conservative convention was attended by a number of Republican lawmakers who support Trump, such as House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Senators Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz and Rich Scott, as well as South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and former Secretary of State John Kerry. Mike Pompeo (R-Texas) will attend.

However, some party anti-Trumpers, such as Utah Senator Mitt Romney and Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney, will be absent.
