With the landing of NASA’s unmanned probe Perseverance on Mars, the question of whether there is life on the red planet has once again attracted attention. However, a declassified document from the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) shows that as early as the 1980s, the agency has already observed the possible existence of ancient humans and other life on Mars.
The document, titled “Mars Exploration,” is dated May 22, 1984. It records interviews between unnamed subjects and monitors.
According to the document, the CIA may have used the astral projection method to observe ancient life on Mars. This method is used by a person who can be out of the body or has the ability to telepresence, at a specific Time to observe the situation in a specific place.
The subject in this paper may have had such supernatural powers. The subject received a sealed envelope before the interview, which contains a card, the message recorded for the Mars about one million years ago. The coordinates of the observation site were dictated to the subject by the monitor.

The document states that the monitor initially gave the subject a coordinates and then asked him (or her) to concentrate on the observation and state what he or she witnessed.
The subject indicated that he (or she) saw a pyramid-like structure of great height that appeared to be situated in a large impoverished area.
At the monitor’s direction, the subject observed different sights in different areas, including humans. He (or she) said, “I saw …… what felt like human figures, very tall and thin, that were just shadows. They seemed to be there and they didn’t seem to be there, and now they’re all gone.”
The monitor asked the subject to go back to the point in time when those people were still there and to report what he (or she) saw. He (or she) said, “I kept seeing very tall people. They looked both thin and tall, but very large …… wearing some kind of strange clothing.”

The subject mentioned that he (or she) also saw the sight of an obelisk, like the Washington Monument in Washington, D.C. (USA).
The subject also said that he (or she) saw a group of dying ancient people looking for a new place to live, as if environmental degradation had forced them to migrate long distances to find another place to live.
The document concludes by stating that, at the request of the monitor, the subjects returned to the time of May 22, 1984 and the room they were in at the time, concluding the interview.
