Former deputy assistant: Trump is the most influential person outside the White House

Sebastian Gorka, former deputy assistant to former U.S. President Donald Trump, said in an interview on Feb. 15 that the U.S. Senate’s 5-day-long second impeachment of Trump has only strengthened Trump’s influence, and that Trump is now the most influential person outside the White House.

Last week, the U.S. Senate’s five-day-long second impeachment of Trump ended on Feb. 13, ending in failure because the number of senators supporting a conviction of Trump did not reach the 67 needed to convict him.

In a Feb. 15 interview with U.K. TalkRadio supporter Mike Graham, Gorker compared the impeachment to the content of the movie “Star Wars,” saying the Democrats’ attack would only make Trump stronger.

Gorker said, “That would be like at the end of the Star Wars movie when Darth Vader and Ben Kenobi confront each other and Obi-Wan says to Vader, ‘If you attack me now, I will only be stronger than you can imagine. ‘ And that’s what they (the left) did to Trump. Now whether Trump runs again now or not, he’s the most influential person outside the U.S. White House.”

Gorker also described how 75 million people supported Trump for another term as U.S. president in last November’s U.S. election, 11 million more than in 2016, a result that came after four full years of left-wing vilification of Trump and made him the U.S. president with the most votes of support while in office; and after leaving office in January of this year, he still has the support of a large number of American voters.

Gorker believes this is because Trump’s policies have won the hearts and minds of Americans, including many voters whose families have supported the Democratic Party for generations, who also agree with Trump’s policies.

The 74-year-old Trump became the first president in U.S. history to be impeached twice, but the failure of the second impeachment also gave him a chance to rise again three years later and run again in the U.S. election.
