Revealed: scandal-ridden anti-Trump Lincoln project donors are sur…

On Friday, National Pulse published a story titled “Revealed: Scandal-hit Lincoln Project donors include Romney’s Bain Capital and China-linked Sequoia Capital.

Today, National Pulse released a partial list of the Lincoln Project’s top donors since 2020 for public access, according to the report. The data is available for public viewing from the Federal Election Commission’s website.

The information shows a dedicated group of major donors mostly from the political left or hard left, destroying the scandal-ridden Lincoln Project’s claim that their organization somehow represents Republicans disenfranchised by Trump.

The FBI is now investigating allegations related to the actions of Jon Weaver, the main founder, who is accused of grooming young men.

The list includes Hollywood types, hedge fund managers, alleged fraudsters, and Mitt Romney’s (Mitt Romney) lifelong company, Bain Capital.)

The list also includes Michael Moritz, a partner at venture capital firm Sequoia, who made a sizable donation in three separate installments in May, June and July 2020: one worth $50,000 and two worth $25,000.

In an interview with the European Venture Capital Conference (Slush), Moritz was described as the pioneer of Sequoia’s expansion into China in the early 2000s.

His reasoning was that “we obviously couldn’t make investment decisions in Menlo Park for companies in China, Singapore, Indonesia – we needed to be close to the market in order to make informed judgments. Likewise, proximity is necessary for us to build the kind of relationships we want with companies. Matters from a distance are difficult.”

Moritz also described the prospect of working with the Chinese Communist Party as “absolutely fantastic,”

“The opportunities within China over the next 15-20 years are going to be absolutely fantastic. One of the misconceptions that the West has about China is that it approaches opportunities with appropriate humility. Chinese capabilities are enormous, ambitions are great, and dedication is strong. It’s really a wonderful combination for enduring, important companies.”

Moritz pushed a similar point in a controversial Financial Times article titled “Silicon Valley would be wise to follow China’s lead.” In addition to praising China’s authoritarian work Culture, he suggested that “it’s easier to do business in China than in California.

Sequoia Capital’s China business has worked extensively with the Chinese Communist Party.

Neil Shen, the founder of Sequoia Capital, has attended high-level meetings of the Communist Party of China when he was a delegate to the National People’s Congress or the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.

In light of the recent coverage of the Lincoln Project, Jon Weaver’s activities, and the cover-ups currently being invoked by journalists – donors must be asked questions about their role in the Lincoln Project and what they know about the process.
