Chen Jinying started her own business after retiring more than 30 years ago, renting a room, buying machines, and finding workers to produce down products for the middle-aged and elderly. At the best of her business, her annual sales exceeded 10 million RMB. At the peak of her business she was passionate about charity and donated not only charity but also down products to help disadvantaged groups.
In 2005, she invested more than 16 million in a new factory, but in September 2011, the company’s liquidity failed, and someone proposed to her that she file for bankruptcy to avoid taking on the debt. The company has a lot of money to spend.
