The president of Taiwan‘s Chinese Unification Promotion Party (CUPP), Zhang Anle, revealed in a recent interview with mainland Chinese media that he used his “kung-fu status” to organize young people in Taiwan to promote the idea of peaceful reunification. The Taiwan Land Commission issued a statement in response, Zhang Anle is afraid to touch the “Criminal Law” in the crime of foreign invasion, the maximum penalty of seven years in prison, support the prosecution investigation according to law.
Zhang Anle posted on his personal Facebook page that he was interviewed by Zhang Bin, the editor-in-chief of China Central People’s Broadcasting Station, when he went to Beijing recently. Zhang Bin mentioned that the unification political parties he contacted were more people who were older.
Zhang Anle said that the Unification Party has the most young people, and not just some. They are currently developing young people and social youth in south-central Taiwan to join the party. Zhang Anle admits that this is because of his past “jianghu background”. He said that when he was in Taipei, the southern children went to Taipei to live in his house, and then these children returned to the south when they were older and had some influence in the local area, and these people were not very strong ideologically, basically green.
Zhang Anle: “When I (from China) came back, the southern friends are still very emotional, very loyal (heart), follow you for Life. I take them to events, participate in a few times to turn red, and then they lead their young people.”
Zhang Anle pointed out that the work to be done by the unificationists in Taiwan is usually to promote “peaceful reunification” and “uprising before the front”, in the interests of the people of Taiwan, which is called love Taiwan. “Our aim is to set up a red team. What does a red team normally do? To preach peaceful reunification, because if Taiwan independence continues, it will face reunification by force. What about unification by force? Now the propaganda is called a frontal uprising.”
Zhang Anle publicly admitted in the Chinese official media to preaching “unification” in an organized manner, causing considerable controversy. The Taiwan Land Commission said that the Chinese Communist Party has long used Taiwan’s democratic and open society to infiltrate Taiwan’s united front in various fields, threatening national security and social stability, including the use of mob forces to create trouble and improperly recruit people, and the government is paying close attention to the relevant situation and strictly guarded.
In addition, the Land Commission further pointed out that Taiwan has successively completed the “National Security Five Acts” and the “Anti-Infiltration Act” and other legislative work to strengthen the maintenance of national security and the defense of the core areas of democracy. Article 115-1 of the Criminal Law has been amended to include mainland China in the scope of application of foreign crimes against national independence and territorial integrity; Article 5-1 of the National Security Law stipulates that the development of organizations for mainland China is punishable by more than seven years in prison. As for the possible involvement of illegal situations, the ROC supports the investigation and handling by the prosecution and investigation organs according to the law.
For the charges involving the crime of foreigners fear of investigation, Zhang Anle 2 interview with this Taiwan responded that “very good”, so that he has a chance to “wake up the people of Taiwan”. Zhang Anle believes that some people are irresponsible, step by step to change the national emblem, which is to tear down the signboard of the Republic of China, will cause a cross-strait war.
When our reporter asked Zhang Anle if he was afraid that others would compare him with Du Yuesheng and Jin Rong of the Qing Hong Gang during the Time of Chiang Kai-shek, Zhang quoted two quotes from Du Yuesheng. One is “an idle word”, that he is committed to a promise, a promise of a thousand Gold. The other sentence is “night pot”. Zhang Anle said that Du Yuesheng thought he had done so much, but because of the soaring prices in Shanghai, Chiang Ching-kuo hit the tiger and had Du Yuesheng’s son arrested, he was used up and ended up in this situation.
Zhang Anle: “If Du Yuesheng is doing something for the country, for the Chinese, you should not have this idea at all. I am for you ‘Jiang someone’ to do things in a low tone. I simply do not care. What I do today is for the Chinese people, the Chinese people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, I am not for a political party, a certain individual, so I am frank.”
When the reporter asked rhetorically, what if one day it will be thrown away like a night pot when it is used up, as Du Yuesheng said? Zhang Anle said, “It doesn’t matter, what do I care if I can die.”
Although Zhang Anle thinks he can sacrifice his life for the promotion of unification, lawyer Huang Tiying interviewed by this station believes that according to Taiwan’s law, Zhang Anle is afraid that he has stepped on the red line. Taiwan’s public authorities, including prosecutors and national security units, must have a clear understanding of who are the people and young people who are organizing what Zhang Anle calls a “front-line uprising”. There are two ways to find out, one is the gold flow, and the other is the force he has at his disposal.
Huang Tiying: “Because of his past gang background, his force must exceed the normal range of people, which must be clearly grasped. This is related to organized crime, the prosecution and police investigation units are obliged to check him out, which is to maintain national security and social security.”
Zhang Anle was one of the founding leaders of the Taiwan provincial gang, the Chu Lian Gang, and was involved in the assassination of the American Writer Liu Jiangnan, a critic of the Chiang Family, in the United States, which was the “Jiangnan case” that rocked Taiwan and the United States. Later, he spent ten years in prison in the United States for a drug trafficking case. After returning to Taiwan, he was wanted for business under the Organized Crime Ordinance. After returning to Taiwan in 2013, he returned to China to promote reunification with the Chinese Unification Party.
