“Trump’s popularity has never been greater” Republican leaders rush to meet Trump for help – Trump meets with Republican leader McCarthy to discuss taking back the House in 2022

Trump met with federal House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy at his Sea Lake estate on Jan. 28.

Former President Donald Trump’s team said Trump met with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy in Florida on Thursday (28) to discuss a number of issues, including Republican efforts to take back the House of Representatives.

A statement from Trump’s Save America PAC said the two men had a “friendly and cordial” meeting at Trump’s Sea Lake estate. They discussed several topics, but the first priority was helping Republicans take back the House of Representatives in the 2022 midterm elections.

The statement said, “Trump’s popularity has never been greater, and his endorsement may be more important than any endorsement at any Time.”

The Trump team said Trump and McCarthy will work together again to boost Republican seats in the House.

In response, McCarthy praised Trump’s “united conservative movement” for putting a stop to the “radical Democratic agenda.

Although Trump has been accused by the Democratic Party of allegedly “inciting riots,” he still enjoys high support among Republican voters. The latest polls show that if Trump forms a new party, the Republican Party will be reduced to the third largest party in the United States.

Recently, 10 Republican federal House members voted to impeach Trump, and they were subsequently abandoned by Republican voters in their own districts, which could mean the end of their political careers.

A few days ago, the federal Senate voted to block the motion to impeach Trump. Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell, who had earlier publicly criticized Trump for “inciting riots in Congress,” also voted to prevent the impeachment from proceeding.
