Bill Clinton falls asleep during Joe Biden’s inauguration speech

Is Sleepy Joe (Sleepy Joe) about to become Sleepy Bill (Sleepy Bill)? Former President Bill Clinton, 74, appeared to be dozing off during Wednesday’s inauguration of President Joe Biden.

Brief video footage posted online shows Biden dozing with his eyes closed as television cameras cut to the 74-year-old Clinton during his inaugural address outside the U.S. Capitol.

“Bill Clinton is definitely asleep,” netizen @the_lunarfather said in a video posted on Twitter.

Clinton was sitting next to his wife, Hillary Clinton, near former President George W. Bush and former Vice President Mike Pence. Neither of them had their eyes closed.

Biden, 78, is the oldest president ever sworn in. His inauguration was attended by a group of politicians seated in rows according to social distance, including the Clintons and the Bushs, Sanders and others. There were no crowds, no parades and, according to a new Rasmussen Reports poll, 32 percent of Americans did not plan to watch the inauguration broadcast at all, compared to 55 percent of Republicans.
