As President Trump’s first term comes to an end on Jan. 20, the official White House website has a long list of accomplishments for the past four years of his administration, and the One America News (OAN) news network has a special article praising President Trump for always putting America first during those four years.
As President Trump’s first term comes to an end, Americans are reflecting on the impact he has made over the past four years, the OAN article said. Among those accomplishments are an unprecedented economic boom, such as the millions of jobs gained in the United States and an unemployment rate that is at an all-time low. In the process, President Trump has made American workers and families (including those of minorities) a priority.
President Trump said, “We’ve seen the rise of African Americans, the rise of Hispanics, people have seen it. With respect to the black community, I’ve said, more than any other person except Abraham Lincoln, I’ve seen the rise of the African-American community. Lincoln, I’ve done much more than any other president.”
President Trump has also eliminated many regulatory rules and regulations that have provided assistance to American workers and businesses, while strengthening America’s energy independence. He has said, “We’ve cut the biggest regulations for you. No president …… can match (my) regulatory cuts. It used to take 20 years to get approval to build highways.”
The Trump administration has also improved “fair and reciprocal trade,” also putting the United States first, especially since President Trump ended “the NAFTA nightmare.
Even during the global pandemic caused by the Wuhan pneumonia virus, President Trump’s response to the Wuhan virus managed to save millions of lives. From the ban on Chinese flights to the historic achievement of Operation Warp Speed, the Trump administration is leading the country on the road to recovery.
In health care, President Trump has given the American people the right to choose and affordable health care. President Trump has said, “We pay the lowest price in the world to protect Social Security and Medicare. We will always protect patients with pre-existing conditions.”
President Trump has also kept his promise to secure America’s borders by building a wall along the southern border and making significant progress.
He has also solidified America’s international leadership by passing more than $2 trillion in defense spending to rebuild our military.
The OAN article concludes by saying that, in short, President Trump has always put America first from the day he was sworn in in January 2017.
