New York City Mayor Michael White announced on the 13th that the city is terminating its business contracts with the Trump Group, including two ice rinks in Central Park, the Central Park Carousel, and the Trump Golf Course in the Bronx.
White said “the City of New York will no longer have any relationship with the Trump Organization,” he also expressed hope that in the remaining about a year of his term, the Trump Organization through the courts to challenge these decisions of the City of New York, “we have a strong legal system.
Many companies and organizations have reportedly severed ties with Trump and his family since the Capitol Hill incident, including the 2022 P.G.A. Championship Finals (P.G.A.), which will no longer be held at Trump National Golf Club.
The Trump name has also been removed from a number of private properties, including the Trump Hotel in Soho, now renamed the Dominick, and a number of Trump apartments in Manhattan.
