In New York, the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), the largest bar association in the United States, announced Monday (Jan. 11) that it will review the “inflammatory” speech made by former New York Mayor and Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani on Jan. 6 in front of Capitol Hill and then decide whether to expel him from the association.
According to the New York Post, NYSBA President Scott Karson said this is the first time in the modern era that the association has encountered such a thing. He said he had received many complaints against Giuliani earlier, and the congressional shock incident was the final straw that made him make the decision to investigate.

According to YouTube user regulations, the first violation will result in a one-week ban on uploading videos, the second in a two-week ban, and the third in a permanent deletion of the channel.

The memo describes last Wednesday’s violent riot as “a direct attack on the U.S. Congress, the Capitol and our constitutional process” and mourns the loss of two Capitol Police officers and other lives lost in the incident.
The memo emphasized that the right to freedom of speech and assembly does not give anyone the right to resort to violence, incitement to rebellion and riot, and said the riot that took place inside the Capitol last Wednesday was inconsistent with the rule of law.
The top-ranking officers said the U.S. military will continue to obey the lawful orders of civilian leadership to protect the U.S. Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic, while supporting civilian authorities in protecting life and property and helping to ensure public safety under the law.

U.S. Justice Department charges 170 congressional intruders with conspiracy to commit riot, sentences up to 20 years
The U.S. Department of Justice said Tuesday (Jan. 12) that federal prosecutors will charge a number of rioters with “conspiracy to commit riot” for breaking into the U.S. Capitol and causing violence.
So far, prosecutors have filed criminal charges against 170 suspects, and the number of indictments is expected to grow to hundreds in the coming weeks.
