South Canadians Call: Wake Up Americans!

On Saturday and Sunday, S.C. residents continued to hold rallies throughout San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles and Ventura counties. “Wake up!” , resident Rebbcca shouted to people standing on the side of the road, “I want people to wake up and recognize the deceptive propaganda of the left and big media and remove those who are corrupt, we are losing our freedom.”

One rally-goer held a sign that read, “Dictators are knocking on your door and threatening you and your loved ones, let’s be brave and step out, freedom gone will never return. We love this land, stand up and show the flag of patriotism and let the bells of freedom ring.”

Van, a Trump supporter who returned from Washington DC, said, “I have been to many rallies where we have not attacked anyone, but have been attacked by others. Thousands of people in DC are peaceful people who want a fair election and only count legal votes and remove illegal ones, no one wants to vandalize public property or attack the Capitol, but there are Antifa people who are creating chaos.”

Citizens seen before the Capitol

Resident Aga recalled, “We were standing on the steps of the Capitol, in the middle, with people in front and behind us, and the police fired tear gas and there was a cloud of smoke, and I was choking and coughing, but people were not panicking. There were people in front and behind, and it was hard to back up when the tear gas came, people backed up a little and sent the older ones backwards, and the slightly younger ones (middle-aged) were switching forward. People didn’t disperse and didn’t push hard to move forward.”

Aijia said the police opened the barricade that day to let some people in, and then blocked it again.

Aijia also said that Antifa people were seen wearing their hats with the brim facing backwards that day. In the video posted online, someone is seen using a tool to break the glass above the gate, and people around shouted “Antifa!

Resident David said, “You see some people were there with tools, and Trump supporters were there with flags, placards and food, etc. I had my own first aid kit with me. After President Trump’s speech, I walked over to the White House for almost an hour with a person who was not feeling well, and when I walked over to the Capitol, I saw that people had already gone inside.” But from the video that came out, it looked like people were being guided up the stairs in the Capitol and were walking and watching, not like they were trying to attack anyone.

David said, “The tweets and the media propaganda that it was the president who was encouraging people to storm Congress, I think is imposing a charge. President Trump’s tweet that afternoon asking people to leave peacefully was blocked. It was weird that day, there was still cell phone reception in the morning and when I got over to the Capitol, there was zero reception, just so people didn’t know the message, but even then, people were still very peaceful.”

Resident Simon said, “We went to Washington to demand fairness in the election because the 2020 election results were stolen by massive election fraud, and this is a critical time to protect democracy.”

Free speech denied

On the afternoon of January 6, President Trump’s tweets asking people to follow the law and order and leave as soon as possible were blocked for 12 hours and the tweets were deleted; on the evening of January 8, Twitter announced that it had permanently frozen President Trump’s personal account, which previously had more than 88 million followers on Twitter.

Facebook is also banning people, with Facebook and its Instagram announcing that they will ban President Trump’s account indefinitely, at least until after Jan. 20. Then, President Trump announced that he would be switching to Parler to post messages, resulting in Apple and Google then announcing that Parler would be taken down.

After the Capitol incident, Twitter, Facebook, Google, Apple and other big tech companies acted jointly to block people’s speech. In fact, this blocking action did not start on January 6, and President Trump’s tweets have been yellow-tagged or deleted for a long time.

The OperationFlagDrop group, which has more than 140,000 active members, was blocked in early December last year. Member Jones said, “I really enjoyed that group, met a lot of friends, and I got a lot of inspiration and helped people in my district run for Congress.”

Ms. Zhou, who is of Chinese descent, said her Facebook account was also blocked last Friday, possibly for reposting sensitive posts, “Isn’t that the Chinese Communist Party thing? And the ‘witch hunt’ for the Capitol incident and the ‘witch hunt’ for people who support Trump is a common tactic of the Chinese Communist Party.” Since last October, some extreme leftists have vowed to retaliate against those who support President Trump, and more recently some organizations and individuals have claimed to make it impossible for those who have worked for the Trump administration to find jobs. Ms. Zhou said, “It really gives a sanguine atmosphere, how long can liberal democracy in America continue?”

Resident Jim said, “We support Trump because he’s done so much for this country, and in four years as president, he’s added 12 million votes, and that’s with a lot of theft of his ballots.

But Simon said her daughter, who has been influenced by big media propaganda, has a lot of negative impressions of President Trump and also thinks American-style socialism is pretty good.

Ms. Pham, who is of Vietnamese descent, said, “No one understands the tyranny and persecution of the people by communism and socialism better than we do, and I came out today to wake up Americans, especially young people, that without understanding socialism/communism, the people will be controlled and that we are fighting for a free country.” One woman held a sign that read, “Apple, Twitter, Facebook and Google, we will not be silenced!”
