Pompeo praises Trump team’s achievements: will go down in history

In a speech on Jan. 8, Pompeo praised the accomplishments of the Trump administration. He said these achievements will go down in history and history will be proud of the Trump administration.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo praised the accomplishments of the Trump administration in a meeting with senior Republican lawmakers and congressional staffers. He said these achievements will go down in history, and history will be proud of the Trump administration.

According to Breitbart News, Pompeo said in a private meeting with Republican lawmakers and senior congressional staffers on the evening of Jan. 8 that he was proud of the accomplishments of the Trump administration and believed history would give a positive assessment.

In his speech, he said, “I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished, not just what I’ve done in the areas of national security and foreign policy, but I’m proud of what this administration has accomplished in terms of families, protecting lives, and so on. These are things that will be remembered in history. I know that when these things go down in history, history will be proud of us.”

In the wake of the congressional shock, a number of Trump administration team officials have resigned to cut ties with President Trump. Pompeo said the congressional storming was truly tragic, and he criticized those officials who turned their backs on President Trump at this time for “not listening to the American people.”

In his speech, Pompeo compared the diplomatic achievements of the Trump administration with those of the Obama administration. He pointed out that the foreign policy of the Obama administration for eight years was based on a pipe dream, and the agreements and arrangements made were unsustainable. Trump’s “America First” foreign policy is pragmatic and feasible.

Economic Results – Since taking office in 2017, President Trump has achieved the best economy for the United States in 40 years. He has achieved tax reform, and in 2019 the labor market is at its strongest level in modern times, with employment at an all-time high (159 million) and unemployment down to its lowest level in 50 years (3.5%).

Median U.S. household income increased by 6.8% in 2019, the largest annual increase since 1967, and hit a record high of $68,700.

Trade Negotiations – President Trump canceled the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), renegotiated the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), created the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), and negotiated tariffs with other countries. In particular, the trade war waged against the Chinese Communist Party has facilitated the relocation of industrial chains back to U.S. soil and increased American jobs.

National Security – The Trump administration has shifted its foreign policy toward the CCP, characterizing it as a strategic competitor and uniting with allies to counter the threat posed by the CCP. The Trump administration is the first to cut the CCP off from the Chinese people, stating outright that the CCP’s biggest lie is that it claims to represent the 1.4 billion Chinese people it oppresses.

President Trump has revitalized NASA, creating the Space Force. He has also continued to withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan, reduce U.S. military involvement in some meaningless conflicts, and repair U.S. military strength.

Trump has sent U.S. forces to decisively kill Qassim Soleimani, the head of the Iranian terrorist group, and Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, the head of IS, which have not only killed Americans, but destabilized the Middle East.

The Trump administration has pushed for the normalization of relations between four countries – the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco – and Israel in the past few months, the most significant breakthrough in the Middle East since the end of World War II.

Pompeo said, “‘America First’ policy is deeply conscious of the fact that the full responsibility of the U.S. government lies in protecting the American people. I know that when we do that, we also enhance the security of all people around the globe, and I’m confident in that.”

In addition, the Trump administration withdrew from the World health Organization (WHO), the U.N. Commission on Human Rights and shed the World Trade Organization (WTO). Pompeo said this is all in defense of American prosperity and security. “Our task every day is to think about how we can make sure that everything we do protects the freedom of Americans.”

Pompeo believes that everything the Trump administration does for the American people is the right thing to do, and he believes 75 million Trump supporters will always remember that.
