A 23-year-old female employee of Chinese e-commerce giant Jindo died earlier on her way home after working until early morning, and was questioned to have died of overwork. Recently another male employee surnamed Tan committed suicide by jumping from a building at his home in Changsha, Hunan province. A resident of the district where the incident occurred said that he was wearing pajamas and pajama pants, I heard it was 23 years old, jumping (building) when his parents were cooking. It is understood that the employee surnamed Tan was at home when he had bought a ticket back to Shanghai, before the incident, was the company’s trial he had just turned.

The company’s parent company, Shanghai Dream Information Technology Co., Ltd. recently issued an announcement about the death of the employee surnamed Tan who committed suicide.

Pindo said that the employee surnamed Tan asked for leave from work on the morning of the 8th, but did not state the reason for the leave. Pindo also quoted the father of the employee surnamed Tan as saying that after picking up the employee surnamed Tan from his home in the afternoon of the 8th, the employee surnamed Tan passed away on the spot after jumping from the 27th floor of his home in Changsha at around 12:00 noon on the 9th, and the forensic examiner confirmed the suicide after arriving at the scene.

According to the report, Poundland said that the employee surnamed Tan joined the company in July last year, the position of technical development engineer, unmarried.

The report said the notice showed that the employee’s family provided information that the employee had purchased an Eastern Airlines ticket to return to Shanghai from Changsha the following day (9) afternoon.

Pindo said that previously, the employee surnamed Tan had passed the company’s probationary period and completed the regularization process on December 30, 2020. The company’s system showed that his average performance score was around 80 (on a 100-point scale).
