The Gateway Pundit reports that Campaign Monitor has confirmed with Dave Lee of the Financial Times that the Trump campaign’s email account has been suspended.
“In a related injunction, Campaign Monitor said, “Self-service accounts associated with the Trump campaign have been suspended as of January 7, 2021. Typically, political campaigns use multiple email service providers to send campaign, fundraising, and other emails,” and that “the Trump campaign sends a very small number of emails, likely a very small percentage of the total emails, from Promotional Campaign Monitor’s accounts.”
By suspending email service to the Trump campaign, the Trump campaign would not be able to access inboxes and send emails to millions of supporters. The Nationalist Review said the campaign had not contacted supporters via email for 48 hours, prompting most reporters to speculate that other providers had also shut off access.
The Nationalist Review reported, “The move effectively cuts off communication between the Trump team and its core supporters. However, it is unclear what other services from the Trump team have been banned.”
Dave Lee of the Financial Times said, “The Trump campaign sent 33 emails in the first six days of January and more than 2,500 in the last year. I’ve been trying to identify other possible (and possibly larger) providers.”
There hasn’t been any Trump emails for more than 48 hours. almost unheard of — he sent 33 in the first six days of Jan; 2,500+ Last year. (h/t @TrumpEmail)
At least one of the services the team used, @CampaignMonitor, has suspended Trump’s access, the company confirmed.
