The U.S. House of Representatives has rejected a challenge launched by Republicans against the confirmation of the Arizona presidential election results, even though more than half of Republicans in the House said they supported the challenge, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The House voted on whether to challenge the results of the Arizona election, with 121 votes expressing disagreement with the state’s results and 303 votes expressing no disagreement, with all of the votes in favor of mounting the challenge coming from Republicans.

Earlier, the Senate also rejected a challenge launched by Republicans against the confirmation of the presidential election results in Arizona, with 93 votes in favor of the state’s results and six votes expressing dissent.
