Joe’s Democratic State Representative Calls on Voters to Block Socialist Infiltration

Georgia Congressman Vernon Jones (R-GA) participates in a rally to “Stop Vote Stealing and Support President Trump” in Washington, DC, December 12, 2020. He said that Biden and the leftist media, including big tech companies, are interfering in the election.

Georgia Democratic state Rep. Vernon Jones, who supports Trump, called on voters to vote for Republican Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler on Saturday (Jan. 2). The Senate will run off the final 2 seats this Tuesday (Jan. 5) and reveal which party will control the chamber. Jones said the stakes are “high” for the country.

“All eyes are on Georgia right now. We have to hold the line here … in funding the police to make sure that underfunding doesn’t happen, to keep socialism out of our communities, and to make sure that our kids have the opportunity to choose schools now. As you know, many of our children are trapped in failing schools based on Democratic policies.” Jones told NTDOT, “There’s a lot at stake.”

At that point, incumbent Republican U.S. Senators Perdue and Loeffler, will be running for the seat against Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, respectively.

If Democrats win their seats in the Jan. 5 runoff, the two parties will form a “50-seat:50-seat” tie in the Senate, on which the Senate will have to wait until the final election results are in to determine who will serve as vice president, who will have the vote to break the deadlock, either incumbent Vice President Mike Pence or Democratic vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

“More importantly, when you look at where Georgia is and how Georgia goes, how this country will go. We have to make sure there’s a balance of power in Washington so we can continue to stop the left and get us off this cliff.” Jones said.

Jones told Newtown that although he is a lifelong Democrat, he does not like the philosophy of the two Democratic candidates.

“They support socialism and stop funding the police. They don’t want school chores. They want kids to continue to be stuck in failing schools brought about by Democratic policies.” Jones said, “If you want to see power (get) balanced in Washington, they (voters) have to come out and vote, and to all the Trump (supporters) out there, please come out (and vote).”

Jones added, “If you believe in the First Amendment, the freedom of speech that you have; if you believe in the Second Amendment, the ability to bear arms, then you need to come out and vote.”

Trump will hold a campaign rally Monday night (Jan. 4) in Joe, a runoff election he described last month as “probably the most important congressional runoff in the history of the United States.

“This election is about control of the U.S. Senate (by which party), and that really means control of this country,” Trump said at a Dec. 5 rally in Valdosta, Jo. every piece of legislation, and control every dollar of taxpayer money.”

“Quite simply, you will decide whether your children will grow up in a socialist state or in a free state. I will tell you that socialism is just the beginning for these people. These people want to go farther than socialism. They want to get into a communist form of government. I have no doubt about that.” Trump said.

Loeffler made the claim in November 2020 that a Republican-controlled Senate would be a “firewall against socialism.
