Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley warned that 2020 will be the year that “socialism goes mainstream” and that President Trump and some Democratic lawmakers want to raise the new epidemic relief check to $2,000.
Haley wrote on her political action manifesto website, “This is a dangerous ideology that has failed in many places through numerous attempts and destroyed countless lives, but is becoming the default economic policy of the Democratic Party; this horrible trend is threatening the future of every American.
In a bizarre coincidence with Washington authorities, both Trump, a Republican, and Vermont U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, a self-described Democratic socialist, want to raise the bailout check for everyone from $600 to $2,000.
Trump released a video last week saying he might reject the massive budget and the new crown epidemic relief bill because he opposed the $600 deal, scaring lawmakers from both parties, and fortunately he signed the bill on the 27th.
By the evening of the 28th, two-thirds of the House members from both parties passed a separate bill to raise the bailout check to $2,000.
Hiley also said the Democrats now support “a government health plan that would destroy the private health care system” as well as “an energy plan similar to the Green New Deal.
