Thousands of Americans gathered in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, to petition the government for fair elections and transparent vote counting. Drew Deal, of Dallas, Texas, joined the protest that day.
Every Saturday since the election, similar grassroots protests have taken place in all 50 state capitals.
Many believe the protests against election theft are for the soul of America, a battle between good and evil. Dill believes that, with God’s blessing, the good people of America will win.
I have learned that God’s victory is with us,” Deal said. America is built on good people, and good people are coming forth.”
“I think today marks a rising wave of good people saying ‘let’s remember who we are,'” he said.
“Good and evil have always been hidden behind.” Dill said, “We’ve been blind to evil, believing it has been purified so cleanly that we don’t believe it exists. That’s the complacency of the American people.”
But he added that after the election, people are moving away from that complacency.
“We are awakening from complacency, which was actually drowning us in a kind of weak tyranny and evil.” Now, he said, “I don’t think people should feel anger, they should feel triumph and repentance on behalf of people who have been silenced, manipulated and stripped of their selves.”
