On Saturday, December 12, 2020, thousands of Americans gathered in Washington, D.C., for a “Stop Voter Theft” rally in support of Trump’s re-election. Ms. Lisa Stancik, former television director of the Voice of America (VOA), said she was here not only to support President Trump, but also to oppose the immoral campaigning practices of the Democrats, especially their promotion of socialism in the United States.
The American spirit, the teachings of God, are very important to me,” said her husband Arias. At the moment we are losing a lot of freedoms that we would have had. Coming here I want to tell the next generation of Americans that we should respect the Constitution and enjoy our freedoms.”
Stancik said, “We all voted for Trump. We believe in God, we’re not just here for that, we’re very concerned about the immorality of the Democratic campaign. Their campaign is morally corrupt.” “I’m very pro-legal immigration,” she continued, stating that her grandfather immigrated to the United States legally. “But there are a lot of illegal immigrant votes, dead people votes, and that is not acceptable. It’s the right of American citizens. Just like I’m an American, I can’t go to France and vote.”
Stancik again expressed the idea that the campaign must be legal. “I am a legal American citizen, yet I don’t know if my vote is being counted, such as software issues and numerous other issues. It’s not a matter of doing whatever you want, the campaign must be legal first and foremost.”
Both Ms. Stancik and her husband, construction company owner Abel Arias, have expressed their opposition to the spread of socialism in the U.S. Stancik said, “The Democratic Party is supportive and open to socialism on all fronts, and we don’t support that at all. My husband is from Colombia, and Colombia’s neighbor Venezuela is completely ruined by socialism.”
Mr. Arias is from Colombia, South America, and attended college in Venezuela. Having experienced firsthand how socialism has turned Venezuela into a poor country, Arias urges people not to have illusions about communism, which is very bad for the future of the United States.
“I came to support Trump, to support the Republican Party and to oppose the Democratic Party.” Arias said. He said that when he was in college, Venezuela was very beautiful, but “after socialism was introduced in Venezuela, it was very authoritarian, international companies were pulling out, and people became very poor.”
Arias wants people who are disillusioned with communism to say, “Universities in the United States have been pushing communist ideas for the last 40 years, and that’s very bad for the future. When you’re young, you think it’s good. History has proven that communism is not possible in reality.”
