Samsung released 110-inch Micro LED TV, the price of millions of you accept?

In 2018, Samsung’s first Micro LED display was released as “The Wall”. Today, Samsung announced the launch of a home theater-quality product with a 4K display – a 110-inch Micro LED TV that can be easily installed in the home.

The 110-inch MicroLED TV is priced at 170 million won in South Korea, or about 1.025 million yuan, according to Firstrade.

Screen-wise, Samsung’s 110-inch Micro LED TV uses micron-sized LED lights, eliminating the backlight and color filter used in traditional LCD TVs and achieving a high color gamut. Because Micro LED is made of inorganic materials, its service life can reach 100,000 hours or more than 10 years.

In addition, using the large 110-inch Micro LED screen, Samsung optimized the Smart TV function. Consumers can use the Multi View feature to simultaneously watch content on four split 55-inch screens, when multiple external devices can be connected to watch news, movies and more at the same time.

In this image, you won’t notice any of the TV’s bezels. The TV has a 99.99% screen-to-body ratio, but Samsung still manages to build an “embedded Majestic sound system” that claims to “deliver stunning 5.1-channel sound without external speakers.”

For now, however, the 10-inch MicroLED TV’s million-dollar price tag will be out of reach for many. But as the technology matures and continues to upgrade, one day, the market price will become reasonable.
