Iranian commander praises Hamas for rocket attack on ‘broken, frustrated’ Israel

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard commander praised Hamas for its rocket barrage against a “broken and frustrated” Israel, according to The Times of Israel.

Addressing a pro-Palestinian rally, Hussein Salami said Hamas’ recent hostile actions against the Jewish state symbolize “the birth of a new Palestine.”

On Wednesday, the commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps, praised Palestinian terrorists who attacked Israel with rockets during the recent conflict in the Gaza Strip.

Speaking at a pro-Palestinian rally at Imam Hussein Square in central Tehran, Maj. Gen. Hussein Salami said, “Today, we witness the birth of a new Palestine.”

Salami said, “A new Israel has also emerged, a broken, discouraged, downcast Israel that has lost faith in itself. “
