Panxuan Pan, a 29-year-old graduate student at MIT, was arrested after more than three months on the run for allegedly shooting and killing Kevin Jiang, a 26-year-old graduate student at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, on Feb. 6 of this year.
According to ABC, the U.S. Marshals Service said that with the cooperation of the Gulf Coast Fugitive Recovery Unit, the Central Alabama Marshals, and the Montgomery Police, Chin-Hsuan Pan was finally arrested and is now being transported to the Montgomery County Detention Center.
It is understood that Kevin Chiang was just engaged to be married, or a graduate student at the Yale University School of the Environment, who was shot and killed while driving a vehicle on February 6, police believe the suspect was driving a stolen car to commit the crime, and later abandoned the car and fled.
After investigation, the police first announced on February 10 people as a person of interest, and later turned into a suspect, and in March issued a nationwide wanted, and in April issued an international wanted, and finally in Alabama successfully caught people, Pan Qinxuan caught after facing murder and second-degree theft charges.
