Not only Wuhan, this storm, before the afternoon of May 9 to the evening, Guizhou and Fujian suffered thunderstorms, wind and hail and other intense weather attacks. Monitoring data showed that squall lines in Guizhou led to strong gusts of 33.4 m/s at the Qianxi National Station with a level 12 wind.

Photos taken by netizens showed that hail even appeared in Guiyang that night, and the size of the hail was bigger than an egg. Such hail and high winds have a certain destructive power, some netizens said, hitting the windows with a special thud, which may have a more serious impact on the agricultural and forestry production in Guizhou region.

Land media said that the heavy rain in Wuhan is just the beginning. Next, with the further intensification of the vice high and the warm and humid airflow, the thunderstorm belt will head east to south, mainly in Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhui and Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai in the next few days.
