At the latest hearing today, the judge ordered her case to be heard in a special courtroom near her home.
“She will appear in person on May 24,” Khin Maung Zaw told AFP. He added, however, that the issue of lawyers not being able to meet with her in private remains unresolved.
Aung San Suu Kyi, 75, has been charged with six counts since her arrest.
The military’s charges include disregarding a ban on gathering during last year’s election campaign and illegal possession of a wireless walkie-talkie.
