Dawn! Israel’s big air strike on Syria blows up 2 missile factories, Russia’s S-400 quietly

Sputnik reported on May 5 that at 2:18 a.m. local time, the Israeli Air Force conducted a large-scale airstrike operation against Syria. This airstrike can be said to be the largest Israeli airstrike operation in 2021. From Hazarim airbase, IAF warplanes deployed two fighter squadrons to conduct air strikes on at least three Syrian provinces.

The IAF deployed F-16s from the 107th Squadron and F-15s from the 69th Squadron to conduct airstrikes against Iranian targets in the Syrian provinces of Latakia, Tartus and Hama. At least 2 missile and rocket factories were destroyed, along with a warehouse. The Syrian side says it lost only 1 civilian plastic products warehouse, but pictures from the scene suggest that this claim is not accurate.

Russian S-300 anti-aircraft missiles in Tartus, and S-400 anti-aircraft missile positions were left untouched. Also at the Russian airbase in Tartus Su-30, Su-35 warplanes did not move.

In recent years, hundreds of Israeli airstrikes on Iranian targets in Syria, but the Russian forces in Syria are not doing anything, not even a comparable interception. This is also very interesting.
