It has not been an easy journey, especially with classes being taught online due to the epidemic. It was the culmination of years of hard work in school and about 2,000 hours of community work.
Danesha told KTBS-TV, “We’re definitely setting world records right now.”
Of the many colleges to which they have applied, the sisters have decided to attend the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in the fall to study math and science in order to launch a future career in the medical field.
Danesha told ABC’s “Good Morning America” that the sisters started out competing with each other and now encourage each other. They have an inseparable relationship.
It’s an unbreakable bond,” Danesha said. Whenever you see me, you see Destiny.”
The sisters say they hope their story will inspire more students to pursue themselves.
Danesha’s advice to students is “Don’t let negativity get you down. Use it as inspiration. Treat everything positively.”
Destiny, on the other hand, advises students to “go beyond your limits. She said, “Achieve everything you want to achieve, achieve everything you want to achieve.”
