According to financial statements exposed by Fox News, President Biden’s climate envoy, “John Kerry,” invested between $4.2 million and $15 million in oil companies before taking over the position.
He was paid $5 million by Bank of America and received hundreds of thousands of dollars in fees from institutions such as Deutsche Bank, Zurich Insurance and Washington Medical University.
Although the State Department says Kerry has divested himself of all assets that could create conflicts of interest and will not be involved in decisions involving former clients and employers, the “climate czar” has not been involved in any of those decisions. But the “climate czar’s” financial situation is still a cause for concern. Kerry is also currently facing scrutiny over his use of private jets.
