China’s Communist Party Escalates Military Standoff in South China Sea Another Provocation in East China Sea

On April 25, the Chinese Communist Party’s Xinhua News Agency reported, “A formation of Chinese marine police vessels patrolled the territorial waters of the Diaoyu Islands on April 25”. This one-sentence report openly reveals the Chinese Communist Party’s ambition to continue its expansion in the East China Sea. Xinhua News Agency also reported “Japanese media: the U.S. military in the Diaoyu Islands around the air drop drill on the same day Chinese ships and aircraft also came”.

On April 23, Xi Jinping further escalated the military standoff in the South China Sea by attending a high-profile ceremony for the delivery of three new naval vessels on Hainan Island. The Chinese Communist Party is expanding and provoking in the East China Sea, South China Sea, and Taiwan Sea, while pretending to “protect the security of the motherland and the happiness of the people,” but is actually dragging the Chinese nation into the danger of war.

Chinese Communist Party provokes U.S. and Japanese security system

The Xinhua News Agency forwarded an article from the Reference News, originally titled “Diaoyu Islands! U.S. Military Rarely Rehearses, Chinese Air and Sea Out”. According to the article, “According to the Japan Economic News on April 23, the U.S. military had conducted a drill of conveyor air-dropping supplies in the waters around the Diaoyu Islands in February 2021. The Chinese Coast Guard Bureau vessels frequently invaded the relevant waters, and Japan accused them of acting ‘in violation of international law'”. The report said that on the day of the exercise Chinese communist fighter jets had approached the waters over the Diaoyu Islands, Japan Air Self Defense Force fighter jets took off in an emergency. The Chinese naval vessels have also moved closer to the area.

The report rarely reveals that Article 5 of the Japan-U.S. Security Treaty obliges the U.S. military to assume Japan’s defense mission. The Japanese and U.S. leaders have repeatedly confirmed that the same applies to the waters of the Diaoyu Islands, and this was also stated in a joint statement issued after the U.S.-Japan summit meeting on April 16. According to the specific entry, if Chinese Communist forces land on the Diaoyu Islands and its affiliated islands, U.S. forces will join the Self-Defense Forces in a counterattack to seize the islands.

The Chinese Communist Party media has always deliberately avoided key information about the U.S.-Japan alliance, fearing that the Chinese people might know about it, but this time Xinhua took the initiative to leak the details, not by mistake or whim, but probably at the behest of Xi Jinping.

The report also said, “President Joe Biden, who takes office in January 2021, sees China as his top rival and says he wants to join allies to fight it on security and economic fronts. It is also part of the U.S. plan to take concrete action on the defense of the Diaoyu Islands, a major headache for Japan.

It seems that the top echelon of the Chinese Communist Party has just redefined its perception of the Biden administration and has sensed the true attitude of the U.S. toward the CCP, but Xi Jinping seems to continue the hard line he has been pursuing for more than three months, preparing for a full-scale confrontation and confrontation directly with the U.S. military.

South China Sea Confrontation Escalates

On April 23, Xi Jinping made a special trip to Sanya, Hainan to attend the delivery ceremony of three new Navy warships. Currently, two of the CCP’s aircraft carriers are deployed to the South China Sea, along with the Type 075 amphibious assault ship, which was previously transferred to Hainan for sea trials. This time, the CCP’s first Type 075 amphibious assault ship was named Hainan, and was officially delivered to the Navy, assigned to the South China Sea Fleet.

It has been speculated that the new 40,000-ton 075 amphibious assault ship developed by the Chinese Communist Party should mainly target Taiwan and can carry amphibious combat vehicles, hovercraft, landing craft, and allegedly 30 helicopters, and about 1,200 marines. This Hainan ship is not assigned to the eastern theater of operations, but given to the South China Sea Fleet, the scope of operations is clearly in the South China Sea, not the Taiwan Strait.

Recently, the USS Roosevelt aircraft carrier and the USS Maxine Island amphibious assault fleet rehearsed in the South China Sea, revealing plans to seize the CCP’s islands and reefs in the South China Sea. The CCP also placed its first amphibious assault ship in the South China Sea, seemingly preparing to engage in a battle with the U.S. military for the islands and reefs in the South China Sea, and possibly intending to capture more islands and reefs. It seems that the Chinese Communist Party’s top brass has indeed been led by the nose by the U.S. military, and despite its weakness, it still concentrated its large naval warships in the South China Sea. Like the Liaoning’s entry into the South China Sea, this move should also be a political decision rather than a professional military one.

The true combat capability of the Liaoning carrier has been thoroughly exposed, and the Shandong carrier has been delivered in December 2019 and has not conducted any long-range training so far. The just-delivered Hainan mimics the U.S. military’s Wasp-class or American-class amphibious assault ships with through-length decks, but the CCP has no short takeoff and landing fighters and can only carry helicopters, which cannot participate in naval warfare. The U.S. amphibious assault ships can carry F-35B stealth fighters, up to 20 of them, transforming into light carriers, which the CCP’s 075 cannot compare with. Moreover, the CCP has no operational experience in landing with large carriers, and it will take time to truly develop a combat capability. However, the CCP’s second 075 amphibious assault ship has also entered sea trials, and the third one is under construction, the CCP has not relaxed its arms race at all.

Also delivered at the same time is the 094A strategic nuclear submarine – the Long March 18 boat. Including the previously commissioned 094 and 094A, the CCP has already commissioned at least seven strategic nuclear submarines. Although the CCP’s submarines are not technologically advanced and easy to detect, the CCP has been looking forward to accelerating the deployment of submarine-launched nuclear weapons, and the best place to go to sea is also the South China Sea, still mainly targeting the United States.

Just delivered in Sanya is another large destroyer, the Dalian, also assigned to the South China Sea Fleet, which is the CCP’s third Type 055 10,000-ton destroyer, also constantly imitating the U.S. Army’s SHIELD.

The Chinese Communist Party is on the dangerous path of militarism

On April 25, Xinhua News Agency added a report, “Speeding up transformation construction to forge elite troops – President Xi Jinping’s attendance at the centralized handing over of three types of naval warships to the Navy aroused strong repercussions in the whole army”. The report said that “the navy is loyal to the Party, the ships travel thousands of miles without losing their way”, “write iron-blooded loyalty in the deep blue channel”, “achieve the call to come, come to be able to fight, and win in battle”, and “defend the motherland’s security and the people’s safety. “to defend the security of the motherland and the happy life of the people”.

The so-called blue navy created by the CCP, including aircraft carriers and amphibious assault ships, are offensive weapons and are not intended for offshore defense. The CCP’s arms race has nothing to do with national defense, but rather the impatience to expand and fight for hegemony.

The CCP calls for the armed reunification of Taiwan, and directly confronts the U.S. military in the South China Sea in a high-profile manner, and also constantly threatens Southeast Asian countries and the safety of the world’s countries in the South China Sea shipping lanes; now the CCP is also provoking the U.S. and Japanese security systems in the East China Sea. The CCP’s arrogance and insouciance are bringing great risks to the Chinese nation.

In order to incite nationalism, the CCP has been hiding the truth, describing the international community’s forced confrontation with the CCP as anti-China, constantly confusing the concepts of the CCP and China, and using “reunification of the motherland” and “consolidation of national defense” as pretexts. Now, the Chinese Communist Party is in a quagmire, and the top management of the Communist Party has simply removed the veil of shame, trying to use all Chinese people as cannon fodder for the Communist Party to fight for hegemony, filling the sea of people, so that China is in a huge crisis, the tragedy caused by Nazi Germany and Japanese militarism is not far away.

All Chinese people, including the soldiers of the CCP army, should use their brains to think how to save China from being caught in the CCP war machine and how Chinese people can be saved from an inexplicable war. Dismantling the CCP regime has become the only way out for the Chinese nation to return to peace, and it is an imminent way out.
