V Fury people burn vaccine passport suspected of mysterious street art master Banksy’s new work

Suspected Banksy’s new work appears on a pub facade.

The North Yorkshire town of Scotton, England, has recently seen what appears to be a new work by Banksy, a mysterious street graffiti artist, depicting Guy Fawkes, a British historical figure wearing a “V Fury mask”, burning vaccine passports, seemingly to express his dissatisfaction with the vaccine passport policy.

The graffiti appeared last Wednesday (21) on the outside wall of the Guy Fawkes Arms pub, and was signed by Banksy. The graffiti shows Fawkes carrying a large wooden barrel on his shoulder and dumping several copies of vaccine passports inside into the fire, which is burning at the British Parliament building.

Although many local people think the graffiti is Banksy’s real work, Banksy has not acknowledged it as his. The bar owners, Mr. and Mrs. Adam Vear, denied that the painting was a public relations stunt, stressing that they were trying to contact Banksy for confirmation. The painting depicts Fox, an English Catholic who was executed in 1605 for attempting to blow up the English Houses of Parliament to assassinate King James I, and later became a symbol of resistance to the government.
