The pool is one of the leisure facilities of a luxury residential estate, located in the embassy district of southwest London downtown. The pool is 25 meters long and 3 meters deep, but the water depth is only 1.2 meters. The pool is constructed of 20 cm thick reinforced glass and can support up to 375 tons of water. At both ends of the pool are exclusive facilities for residents such as a spa and poolside bar, and residents who do not want to swim can use the pedestrian bridges to reach the buildings at both ends of the pool.
The pool will be officially unveiled on the 19th of next month. The estate is aimed at Middle Eastern and Asian tycoons, and the developer says the sky pool is a landmark like no other, but also a major challenge for engineers.
