2 more deaths after Chinese vaccination in Hong Kong, total 19 deaths

According to the Hong Kong government announced on the 21st, Hong Kong added two more cases of death after administering the Chinese Coxin COVID-19 vaccine, since the start of the Hong Kong vaccination program more than 1 month, a total of 19 people have died after vaccination, including 17 people received the Coxin vaccine, and two people received the Fubetai vaccine.

Comprehensive media reports, including a 92-year-old man suffering from ischemic stroke and many other diseases, died on the 5th of this month after receiving the Coxin vaccine on March 18, but the Hong Kong government did not announce it until the 21st. The Hong Kong New Crown Vaccine Clinical Event Assessment Expert Committee pointed out that according to the preliminary autopsy findings, the cause of death was a ruptured left hemothorax and aortic aneurysm.

Another person, a 72-year-old man suffering from kidney failure, died of cardiac arrest when he went to the hospital for dialysis on April 16 after receiving the Coxin vaccine on March 24. The committee said that the initial clinical assessment of the cause of death was sepsis and hyperkalemia related to the dialysis catheter, which was again denied to be related to the vaccination.

At present, 17 people have died in Hong Kong after receiving the Kexing vaccine, and 2 people have died after receiving the Pfizer/BioNTech “Fubetai” vaccine, making a total of 19 people who died after receiving the Chinese-made vaccine.

From April 5 to 18, the Hong Kong Department of Health also received 20 cases of suspected facial paralysis “Bell’s palsy” after vaccination, of which 12 had received the Coxin vaccine and 8 had received “Fubetai”. Cumulatively, by the 18th of this month, there were 32 cases of facial paralysis after vaccination in Hong Kong.

According to the Taiwan Central News Agency, the “Fubitai” vaccine is a COVID-19 vaccine developed and produced by Fosun Pharmaceuticals in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan under license from BioNTech.

Although the Hong Kong government and Chinese Communist Party officials have repeatedly denied that the deaths and other cases were related to the Chinese-made vaccine, Chinese vaccine expert Tao Lina exposed on social media platforms on Jan. 5 that there were as many as 73 side effects from vaccination with the Chinese drug, and said that the Chinese vaccine was “the most unsafe vaccine in the world. In addition, Gao Fu, director of the Chinese CDC, made a rare admission at the National Conference on Vaccines and Health in Chengdu, Sichuan province, on April 10 that vaccine protection on the mainland is not high and that authorities are considering mixing vaccines from different pharmaceutical companies and improving vaccination methods to improve protection.

The Financial Times reported that this was the first time that a Chinese Communist Party official had publicly acknowledged the lack of vaccine protection in China. However, posts on WeChat about Gao Fu’s comments were immediately deleted.

The effectiveness of Chinese vaccines has also been questioned internationally. In Chile, Pakistan, Turkey, Brazil and other countries, the number of people diagnosed with the Chinese Kexing vaccine has increased rather than decreased, and side effects have been reported frequently, with netizens exclaiming that “the Chinese vaccine is more like sowing poison.
