The Israeli military announced that it struck several Hamas facilities last night (16) in retaliation for rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli military press service said, “In response to rocket fire from the Gaza Strip, Israeli fighter jets and helicopter gunships struck multiple Hamas military targets located in the Gaza Strip, including training facilities, posts under construction to house surface-to-air missiles, businesses producing concrete for the construction of underground tunnels and ammunition depots, and underground infrastructure. “
The Gaza Strip fired a rocket into Israel on the night of the 16th, according to the Israeli army press service previously. Air defense sirens were sounded in two settlements in southern Israel.
