Recently, a section chief of the audit bureau in Langfang, Hebei Province, China, was reported by his own wife in real name, which became a hot topic on the Chinese internet. It is reported that the woman named Zhao Chenfei reported that her husband kept a mistress outside, set up a private company and used his position to ask for benefits from the audited party, and had offered a bribe of 20 million yuan (RMB, same below). The Weibo account that Zhao Chenfei used to report the incident has been “blown up” and disappeared.
On April 11, local time, the microblogging account “Langfang City Zhao Chenfei” posted an article to report her husband’s bribery and cheating to the public. Zhao Chenfei said in the letter that her husband’s name is Li Boliang, who is the head of the finance section of Langfang Audit Bureau. Li Boliang as a civil servant but openly adopted a mistress, set up a private company and operated for more than ten years, but also used the audit bureau position to take advantage of the audited enterprises and institutions to ask for engineering projects, and for their own personal interests to Langfang officials have paid bribes of about 20 million yuan.
Zhao Chenfei said in her open letter that she had reported to Liu Shuang, secretary of the Hebei Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission, Wei Guodong, secretary of the Langfang Discipline Inspection Commission, and Yang Xiao, secretary of the Langfang Municipal Party Committee, for this matter, but there was no response. She sent an open letter in the microblog, also hope to get the attention of the discipline inspection department and the media and everyone.
According to the New Times website, Zhao Chenfei said in an interview with the media that she had no choice but to publicly report her husband on Weibo because he now wants her and her children out of the house.

The company has also made public on Weibo a number of documents of the transfer of money from Li Boliang to the “mistress”, the most amount of which is 9,000 yuan and the least is 521 yuan.

Zhao Chenfei also uncovered Li Boliang’s alleged bribery in the whistleblower letter. She said that Li Boliang set up a company called Hebei Wan Ying Engineering Project Management Consulting Co. He often uses his position to expand business, but also often “send money” to others. Ms. Zhao said: “I am his pawn, every time I go to the bank to withdraw cash, he then took to give away.”
According to Zhao Chenfei, Li Boliang often took advantage of his position in the Audit Bureau to ask for engineering projects from the audited enterprises and institutions; and the company needed to expand its network and business, so Li Boliang often paid bribes to relevant officials, ranging from a few thousand to several million, the total amount should be more than 20 million yuan.
When the reporter of “New Times” website called Langfang Audit Bureau, the other side confirmed that Li Boliang was indeed a civil servant of the Audit Bureau, but the other side refused to say more about the fact that Li Boliang was reported by his wife for the reason of personal privacy.
In the afternoon of April 12, Langfang City Discipline Inspection Commission office staff responded to media inquiries, said the city’s Discipline Inspection Commission has been monitoring the matter through the network public opinion, is currently conducting verification and investigation.
