U.S. police officer Xiao Wan kneeling dead Floyd case broke big news law enforcement video shows kneeling is the shoulder not the neck

The case of police officer Shovan kneeling Floyd has broken big news, The Gateway Pundit said Tuesday (April 6), as police officer Shovan’s lead defense attorney, Eric Nelson, played a video in court Monday that appeared to show police officer Shovan’s knee, at the time, resting on Floyd’s shoulder blade, not his neck. And Black Lives Matter and pro-Black Lives Matter mainstream media reporters have long been the ones to claim that Officer Shovan was kneeling on the 46-year-old drug addict’s neck.

Nelson’s lawyers played two videos in court, one recorded live by teenager Darnella Frazier and the other from former police officer Alexander Kueng’s police body-worn camera. In the widely distributed video recorded by Frazier, the angle of the shot gives the impression that Officer Shovan’s knee was indeed on Floyd’s neck. However, in the law enforcement body-worn footage from the same time, the officer’s knee can be seen resting on the criminal’s shoulder blade. So it is clear that at least during some parts of the arrest made by Officer Shovan, the officer’s knee was on Floyd’s shoulder, not his neck.

Attorney Nelson asked Minneapolis (Minn.) Police Chief Police Chief Medaria Arradondo in court, “Would you agree that Officer Shovan’s knee was more on Mr. Floyd’s shoulder blade from the perspective of Kuhn’s law enforcement body-worn camera?”

Police Chief Arradondo replied, “Yes.”

Here is a comparison video of the two videos

Derek Chauvin’s defense counsel Eric Nelson introduces the concept of “camera perspective bias.” Minneapolis Police Chief Arradondo agrees Chauvin’s knee looks like it’s on Floyd’s neck in the bystander video, but appears to be on his “shoulder blade” in the body-cam video.pic.twitter.com/YoR2GWTdaH
