Xi Jinping strolled in Fuzhou to expose himself as an official history of the network was blocked again

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China, visited Fujian province, where he worked for 17 years, from March 22 to 25, and talked to “people” arranged by the local government on the streets of Fuzhou about his history as an official, saying he became secretary of the city at the age of 37. Afterwards, an old video of Xi Jinping being interviewed by a TV station during his early years in Fuzhou, holding a child and talking to him, went viral again. The old clip was banned in mainland China.

On March 24, Xi visited Fuzhou and visited the countryside Fudao, the Sanfang Seven Lane historical and cultural district, and Fujian Fugong Co.

A video posted by netizens shows Xi visiting Countryside Fudo, holding a microphone and addressing the “people” present: “Fuzhou, the state of blessing, people who live in Fuzhou don’t want to leave.” Then he also said a local dialect in Fuzhou: “Seven slips, eight slips, never leave Fuzhou.” He also added that he had worked here for six or seven years, and he arrived in Fuzhou as a municipal party secretary at the age of 37 …….

In response, netizens forwarding the video said, “So impressive, 37 years old to become a municipal party secretary! If it is not the son of a high cadre, it should still be delivering takeout!”

On March 25, a netizen reposted a video saying, “Turn up this old film, look at Xi Jinping back then! The country has deleted all! What are you afraid of? What are you afraid of?”

A search of the Internet revealed that the video is an old TV interview with Xi Jinping and his wife, Peng Liyuan, during his early years in Fuzhou, with the highlight being Xi hugging his child and saying, “It’s important to retain your true colors.” The film was censored in China.

The old footage shows Xi’s simple style as he cooks with Peng Liyuan at Home while holding his one-year-old daughter Xi Mingze in his arms for an interview with a TV reporter.

Xi was sitting with his daughter in his arms and said to the camera, “When we were in the queue, I was in the queue alone, and I made all the Food myself. But at that Time, all the cooking was coarse, coarse food, now instead, it is slow fried.”

The reporter asked him, “As wife Peng Liyuan, what is the most satisfying for you?”

Xi said, “The most important thing for a person is to retain his originality, no matter what you do, the originality is very important, that is to say, after all the experience, it is still something that goes back to the basics.”

The image then shows Xi and his wife frying vegetables in the kitchen, with Xi pointing out to his wife, “Salt and sugar, add some MSG.” He also personally put the fried dishes on a plate. Peng greeted the others at the table.

The child sat on Xi’s lap during the meal.

The clip, allegedly shot in 1993, is about 90 seconds long and features footage labeled Beijing TV, when Xi was serving as secretary of the Fuzhou municipal party committee.

The old footage, which is currently circulating only on websites outside of China, was reportedly censored in mainland China.

The commentator Wei Jin has written that in a normal country, it is normal for a leader’s Family Life to be used as a talking point for the public, and that this Xi interview clip is actually quite positive, showing Xi’s simple, easy-going and humane side back then, which is good propaganda for Xi. But it was blocked, showing that the CCP does not need such a Xi Jinping.
