U.S. Arizona town declares state of emergency due to border crisis

On Tuesday (March 23), the mayor of the small town of Gila Bend, Arizona, said he would declare a state of emergency because of the crisis at the southern border, which he said was rooted in the authorities’ border policy. The town of Gila Bend is located near the U.S.-Mexico border and has a population of only 2,000 people.

Gila Bend Mayor Chris Riggs told Fox News he believes the blame lies with the Biden administration, which has bused illegal immigrants into his town, leading to the current situation where they don’t have the resources necessary to take care of the influx of immigrants due to the ongoing Epidemic of the Chinese Communist virus.

“The Border Patrol let us know that they were going to dump immigrants in our town who had been detained for 72 hours, and we really don’t understand why because we don’t have anything here,” Riggs said.

“We don’t have charitable organizations that can help them, there are no NGOs, the bigger cities and towns have those that can assist these people.”

He explained that they receive no federal or state assistance, and that illegal immigrants dropped off in his town have no access to Food, lodging or testing for the Chinese Communist virus.

Riggs said that about 20 illegal border crossers enter the town on foot almost every day and that crime in Gila Bend has recently begun to rise. The migrants, who may also include people with the CCP virus, are in urgent need of CCP virus testing and services.

He said the situation now is that the site needs to test two buses a week for the CCP virus, at a cost of about $600,000 a year.

In addition to the Arizona border, the Texas border is beginning to be overwhelmed. According to earlier reports, illegal immigrant detention facilities in Texas’ Rio Grande Valley are already overcrowded, and Texas border officials say that since last weekend, the U.S. government has implemented new measures there that require that illegal immigrant families without a court case can choose the U.S. location they want to travel to and then file their own cases in local immigration courts upon arrival.

Anonymous border officials told right-wing media outlet Breitbart that the new regulations enacted by the Biden Administration could cause more problems, and in fact, many immigrants will never go to court on their own and will walk freely throughout the United States without the government being able to track them. In addition, the bill implemented there may attract more immigrants from this area, or it may cause more disaster.

In March, the Biden administration acknowledged that there was a crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border and called on migrants to stay away, but the calls were not met.
