On March 22, conservative James O’Keefe’s Veritas Project released photos taken from inside a border detention facility in the Rio Grande Valley region of Texas. The photos show illegal immigrants, including a large number of minors, huddled together on the floor despite the COVID-19 (Chinese Communist virus) pandemic.

The source who provided the photos said they were taken within the last few days, the Veritas Project noted. There are eight pods in the facility, each with eight cages. At any given Time, an average of 3,000 people are detained there.

“They are assigned cages according to the age or size of the immigrants,” the source said. “In the past few days, 50 positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported at the site.” O’Keefe also said the site has received reports of “multiple sexual assaults, assaults and routine medical emergencies.”

Sources also noted that a significant number of illegal alien minors were crammed into cages, many sleeping on the floor. U.S. Customs and Border Protection noted that illegal entry of Family and unaccompanied minors increased by more than 100 percent in February, reaching tens of thousands.

The 185,000-square-foot facility was completed about a month ago.

According to Fox News and Axios, the facility where the photos were leaked is the Rio Grande Valley (RGV), which over the weekend has begun adopting new regulations for releasing illegal aliens without a court case to various parts of the United States.

Anonymous border officials told right-wing outlet Breitbart that the Biden administration has asked the region to implement a new bill that would allow immigrants to file cases in destination courts on their own, but the fact is that many immigrants will never “turn themselves in,” and will walk freely throughout the United States without a case, making it difficult for authorities to track or subsequently deport them. In addition, the bill implemented there could attract more immigrants from the region, which could cause even more havoc.

Rep. Greg Steube, a Florida Republican, wrote on Twitter, “The human impact of the Biden border crisis is real. Facilities are overstretched, U.S. Customs and Border Protection is overwhelmed, and dangerous criminals are sneaking into our country. Biden and Democrats need to take responsibility and reverse their harmful policies.”

Rep. Michael McCaul, a Texas Republican, predicted Sunday that a million people will try to enter the United States by summer. “It’s going to get worse. It’s going to get worse in the spring and into the summer. The word is out again, ‘Hey, we have a new president, come on in, we’re opening up our business to human traffickers,'” he said in the ABC interview.
