On March 18, during the high-level U.S.-China talks, the Chinese Communist Party representatives launched a war-wolf offensive. Yang Jiechi and Wang Yi ignored the etiquette, not only spoke overtime, but also threw out a series of curse words, causing quite a shock.
Remember last June, Yang Jiechi met with Pompeo in Hawaii, low-key, polite, how less than a year to change their faces? The reason is simple: the White House has temporarily changed hands, and he is not facing the Pompeo, who said “the Chinese Communist Party is full of evil”.
There is a view that Yang Jiechi is just acting for the domestic scene, especially in order to account to Xi Jinping. I think, this is not the whole picture.

These party-Culture phrases are nothing but the same old trick of confusing “China” and “Chinese Communist Party”, trying to stir up nationalist sentiments and divert attention. In addition, Yang and Wang’s “righteous indignation” is an expression of the party’s “strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition” to the U.S. sanctions against Chinese Communist Party officials, the siege of huawei, and the investigation of the source of the Epidemic.
On Nov. 28 last year, Zhai Dongsheng, vice dean of the School of International Relations at Renmin University, said in a speech that after President Trump‘s administration, Wall Street was unable to help the Chinese Communist Party even though it wanted to. He then said with a low chuckle, “But now Biden is in power!” At this point, some members of the audience also laughed, and others applauded. Zhai Dongsheng also mentioned the point that Biden’s son has some kind of fund company around the world, “who helped him build the fund company, get it? It’s all about buying and selling.”
So today, the reason why Yang Jiechi dare to call the United States, and even said “you are not qualified”, is it related to what Zhai Dongsheng called “trading”?
The new U.S. Secretary of State Blinken said that the relationship between the United States and China will be the competition where the competition, the cooperation in terms of cooperation, the confrontation where the confrontation. So, if Biden is subject to the Chinese Communist Party because of certain deals, will this affect the new U.S. administration’s competition, confrontation and cooperation with the Chinese Communist Party?

The attacks on American democracy by Chinese Communist Party officials represent the true thinking of the Chinese Communist Party, and show the antagonism between the Communist Party and free institutions.
The slogan of the new U.S. administration is: “America is back. What will the United States get in return for its return to this agreement and that organization? This “return” means importing hundreds of millions of U.S. taxpayers’ money into the organization, so what is the point?
On the other hand, will the Chinese Communist Party treat its own people well when it is blatantly screaming in foreign countries? Can it “represent” the Chinese people? It is easy to imagine how much “freedom” and “rights” the Chinese people can have within the world’s largest firewall, under the Party’s propaganda and iron-fisted control. Therefore, to talk about upholding human rights, we need to be bold enough to say “no” to tyranny and to put morality above profit.
